Bellatrix 2017

The Bellatrix collection by Sarah Cotton, Creative Director of Bang, earned her a finalist place at The British Hairdressing Awards. The inspiration for the shoot was female warriors (Bellatrix being the Latin name for these goddesses amongst women). Sarah wanted the warriors to represent modern woman – strong and fierce, yet still with a soft femininity. The hair featured strong geometric shapes working with soft pink hues and the models adorned only with warrior tattoo styled designs cut from electrical tape. These modern women are fighters and they use their strength and beauty to their advantage.
