🚨Bang News🚨 🧡Josie has been promoted to Advanced Stylist!🧡 This week our gorgeous Josie has took the next step in her career and moved up to Advanced Stylist. This is no mean feat! In order to achieve this new title Josie @hairbyjosie.cameron had to create her very own photographic collection of six images, giving her collection a name and a story and putting her looks together considering model choices, clothing, makeup, lighting and more. We think you’ll agree she has done an incredible job! Josie started her career with us at Bang as an apprentice in 2020. She very quickly became an integral part of the team and was a star student with Bang as well as with college. She has taken part in many photo shoots and industry competitions and has had some great success with her creative work. She really does have an incredible talent and is a dedicated, driven hairdresser. Josie excels at cutting and creative colour work and has a loyal clientele who only have great things to say about her. 🧡Bye bye Jake🧡 This week we said Goodbye to our lovely Jake! He’s moving onto pastures new with his wife Laura. They are taking on a very exciting project running a stunning hotel in the country side near Dunnington and therefore, sadly for us Jake has given up hairdressing 🥹 Jake has been with us for over ten years and in that time he has gone from Graduate Colourist to Education Director. He has helped Sarah with the Bang Education program and has mentored many of our young Apprentices and upcoming Colour stars. We took him out on Saturday night to @silver_spur_saloons_york which was an absolutely brilliant evening and as you can see Jake got a pretty good send off with all of our team! Cowboy hats and “YEEHAA’s” all night! 🤠 We would like to take this opportunity to wish Jake and Laura all the luck in the world in they’re new venture. We are certain it will be a roaring success. Good bye and good luck Jake and thank you for ten years of being an integral part of the Bang Family! We love you! We’re incredibly proud to announce that our talented team produced some beautiful entries for the international Keune Hairstylist Awards 2026 with some major success. Tim’s look on model Stan gained the number one spot as UK Winner in the Style category and Freya’s beautiful colour on model Poppy gained recognition as Runner-Up in the Colour category. Tim will now go on to represent the UK on the global stage. We’ll soon reveal the whole collection, but for now, let’s just appreciate the talents of these two gorgeous Bangsters!

🧡 MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS!🧡 Our gorgeous Freya absolutely smashed it out of the park last night! She presented her final colour exam to the team and passed all techniques with flying colours! (No pun intended) we would like to take this opportunity to say how incredibly proud we are of Freya, she has worked so very hard to get to the standard she has and it’s no mean feat at all! Her colour choices and application is phenomenal and we an extremely happy to have her as our brand new GRADUATE COLOURIST! 🥰😍😘 Freya will be taking colour appointments on the salon floor and starting the journey of building her clientele at Bang.
