Bang launched in September 2007, and is located close to the heart of York, one of the UK's most beautiful cities. We are a family run business, and we want you to feel part of the intimate atmosphere that we have created. Come in, relax and have a complimentary drink. We offer a wide range of refreshments, including Lavazza coffee & a range of teas & fresh juices, or why not wind down with a wine or beer. You can choose some music from our brilliant jukebox - anything from MGMT and Radiohead to The Beatles and The Stones.
Our Salon's look has been inspired by 1950's American diners and 1970's playful kitsch. With its black and white check flooring, red leather chairs, and orange hair dryers, Bang has bags of personality.
Bang has been brought right up to date with the latest in-salon technology, we have free wi-fi access, allowing you to surf the net while you wait (just ask at the desk for 'log on' details) and if you don't have your own laptop, use ours (again, just ask), we also have a Nintendo DS available for that bit of extra fun. Bang is also the only salon in York to have television screens in the mirrors (that's right! In the mirrors... you have to come & see them!!!) So you can enjoy viewing lifestyle TV, catwalk collections and celebrity gossip as an alternative to our wide selection of magazines!
